About The Position

LAZ Parking is a rapidly growing parking company with a mission to create opportunities for employees and value for clients. The LAZ Hospitality team focuses on hotel partnerships, emphasizing operational and financial excellence, training, human connection, and career development. The Hospitality Manager plays a crucial role in supporting Regional Management by overseeing the financial, operational, safety, and service aspects of their assigned hotel(s). This position is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction and maximizing revenue while controlling expenses, all within the framework of LAZ Parking's culture and client agreements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience desired.
  • 1+ years of Management experience.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry (Parking, Restaurants, Hotels, etc.) is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment with high customer expectations.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
  • Capable of handling employee conflict, following grievance procedures, mediating, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong customer service skills and abilities.
  • Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial, operational, safety, and service success at assigned hotel(s).
  • Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of Assistant Hospitality Managers, Supervisors, Shift Leads, and frontline staff.
  • Maximize revenue, control expenses, and ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high safety and service standards aligned with client expectations.
  • Attend daily stand-up meetings and resume meetings with clients, either personally or through subordinate managers.
  • Ensure LAZ internal stand-up meetings (Pre-Shifts) are held each shift.
  • Assist in the management and development of the Hotel team to achieve goals and initiatives, using LAZ Parking's culture as a guideline.
  • Identify high-potential employees for organizational growth.
  • Participate in the recruiting and onboarding process for new employees.
  • Roll out safety initiatives from the National Safety & Training Manager to employees and address safety concerns promptly.
  • Drive service results and set goals by monitoring LAZ Service Shopper Reports and hotel internal service metrics.
  • Cultivate client relationships and ensure business retention.
  • Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives as required.
  • Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements outlined in the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and clients.
  • Manage claims and safety-related training, prevention initiatives, and claims processing, including investigation, client/guest follow-up, and reporting.
  • Ensure overall financial success, including audit compliance and adherence to audit protocols.
  • Process payroll, ensuring timely sign-off on hours and proper data submission with the local payroll department and HR Business Partner.
  • Ensure LHIST data is entered daily and accurately.
  • Manage the financial aspects of the assigned location, ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancement related to staffing, scheduling, and operational expenses.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports.
  • Prepare budgets and conduct monthly reviews of profit/loss statements for assigned hotel(s).
  • Monitor, review, and analyze market rate structures.
