About The Position

Octagon is seeking a Hospitality Director for a Payment Services client, an award-winning brand known for its iconic marketing initiatives. This role will oversee a North America-based event calendar associated with the client's property partnerships in Sports, Golf, and Entertainment. The position emphasizes project management across the US, Canada, and Latin America/Caribbean, including product and service integrations. It is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a diverse, international team environment and is inspired by sports marketing and sponsorship consulting. The role requires advanced B2B hospitality skills, leadership in hospitality delivery, project management, asset utilization, and agency integration. The ideal candidate will have experience hosting executives and B2B/B2C clients, a customer-centric mindset, and social savvy to collaborate across marketing disciplines.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of work experience in hospitality or experiential marketing.
  • Proven experience managing VIP and executive groups.
  • Strong leadership presence.
  • Ability to communicate concisely, persuasively, and effectively across multiple mediums.
  • People leader invested in the success of the team.
  • History of building positive relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Proactive, critical thinker who thrives under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a reliable agency contact for client sponsorship, internal client departments, and agency partners.
  • Oversee B2B Hospitality Programming across multiple regions and events, with a focus on the Americas.
  • Serve as the client liaison for Americas/B2B Hospitality and Product Service Integration.
  • Manage a US-based team to plan and execute high-profile B2B events.
  • Integrate client's products and services into sponsorship programs.
  • Serve as an experiential expert to ideate on innovative ways to convey client messaging through events and hospitality.
  • Oversee B2B programming and Executive onsite management.
  • Manage finance trackers, budgets, and program reconciliations.
  • Develop sales decks and presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Support the agency experiences team as a key member of the hosting and hospitality vertical, bringing new insights and ideas to an evolving industry.
