About The Position

RUCKUS Networks is a global leader in advanced wired and wireless networking solutions, delivering industry-leading connectivity experiences for the hospitality market. We are seeking a results-oriented Regional Sales Director (RSD) to lead our North American Hospitality sales organization. This leadership role is responsible for driving revenue execution across the United States and Canada by leading a high-performing sales team, developing strategic channel partnerships, ensuring forecast accuracy, and executing the North American hospitality sales strategy. The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with strong operational discipline, exceptional coaching skills, and a proven ability to build predictable sales execution through partner engagement and disciplined pipeline management. This position works closely with the Global Hospitality Strategy Leader, who owns worldwide hospitality strategy, hotel brand relationships, and long-term market direction. The ideal candidate for this role will reside either in the United States or Canada.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience.
  • 5+ years leading high-performing sales teams.
  • Hospitality technology industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience selling through indirect channel partners.
  • Strong Salesforce CRM experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing multimillion-dollar sales organizations.
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Hospitality Account Managers and Inside Sales professionals.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across the sales organization.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, territory planning, opportunity coaching, and business reviews.
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, execution, and customer success.
  • Own North American Hospitality sales forecast accuracy.
  • Drive disciplined opportunity management within Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, forecast risk, and revenue attainment.
  • Develop quarterly and annual territory execution plans.
  • Ensure forecasting reflects realistic execution while identifying upside opportunities.
  • Build strong executive relationships with Hospitality-focused LAN Service Providers (LSPs), Distribution partners, strategic reseller partners, and System Integrators.
  • Develop joint business plans with strategic partners.
  • Drive partner enablement, pipeline development, and sales execution.
  • Identify new partner opportunities that expand RUCKUS market presence.
  • Drive execution against quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Identify growth opportunities across existing accounts and new business.
  • Assist sales teams with complex opportunities, pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and executive engagement.
  • Remove barriers preventing successful deal closure.
  • Partner closely with Global Hospitality Strategy, Product Management, Marketing, Sales Operations, Distribution, Finance, and Customer Experience to ensure effective execution of regional business priorities.
  • Maintain disciplined use of Salesforce CRM.
  • Ensure opportunity hygiene and accurate forecasting.
  • Track KPIs including Revenue, Pipeline Growth, Win Rates, Forecast Accuracy, Partner Performance, and Team Productivity.
  • Deliver regular business reviews and executive reporting.
