About The Position

The Hospitality Associate is the first point of contact for Midtown members and guests and helps create a welcoming, memorable club experience. The role sets the tone through warm greetings and goodbyes, prompt and accurate assistance, and positive communication about club policies and procedures. Hospitality Associates support Midtown’s goal of inspiring others to transform their lives by providing personal attention, resolving questions and issues, and contributing to an exceptional facility experience. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support department operations.

Requirements

• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Strong customer service skills and enjoyment of serving others.
• Working knowledge of customer service standards.
• Ability to work gracefully and quickly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone entering the club with a warm welcome and provide genuine goodbyes.
• Understand how to make each member’s or guest’s experience special.
• Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and optimism.
• Assist members with program registration, payment processing, and scheduling services.
• Handle check-ins, answer questions, and resolve issues appropriately.
• Identify customer friction points and help find solutions.
• Participate in service recovery.
• Maintain cleanliness of front desk areas.
• Contact housekeeping and maintenance when a problem is reported.
• Answer questions about club services and facilities.
• Implement processes and procedures for consistent service delivery.
• Complete transactions for paid services or goods.
• Complete assigned tasks or projects, such as calling members with birthday greetings.
