The Hospital Operations Coordinator is responsible for the leadership on all daily operations within the hospital in the absence of the Operations Manager - Hospital. In addition, they are responsible for delivering on the established Metrics within the contracted agreement, as well as, assisting in the Team Building of the ASSET360 FTE’s. This role involves ensuring equipment is functioning at the highest standards, managing equipment flow, maintaining inventory, investigating staff concerns, and implementing courses of action. The coordinator will also assist with the supervision of personnel, including training, performance reviews, and corrective action plans. They will help establish reporting requirements, manage staffing schedules, foster cooperation among shifts, and work to deliver a harmonious working environment with a focus on staff retention. The role includes facilitating and educating on the HST training manual, coaching staff in problem-solving and conflict resolution, and developing career path opportunities. Leadership is provided in regards to training and education of ASSET360 policies, procedures, and best practices, including training and use of in Care. The coordinator will also assist with daily tasks such as patient rounds, equipment deliveries, and cleaning processes.
