About The Position

MountainView Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Hospital Housekeeper I. The role is responsible for cleaning clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, following safety and sanitation policies, and properly handling and disposing of regulated medical waste (RMW), hazardous materials, solid waste, and linen. The housekeeper must maintain Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards and report hazards or unsafe work conditions. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
One or more years of healthcare experience preferred.
One or more years of experience in housekeeping or a service-related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Clean clinical and non-clinical areas in accordance with departmental and hospital policies.
Follow safety and sanitation policies.
Follow requirements for the storage, handling, and disposal of regulated medical waste, hazardous materials, solid waste, and linen.
Maintain Environmental Services uniform and personal appearance standards.
Report hazards and unsafe work conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
