About The Position
Are you dependable, safety-minded, and committed to providing excellent service? We are seeking a Hospital Driver to support our hospital by safely transporting medical items between labs, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. This role also helps support patients and visitors through occasional non-emergency transportation assistance.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- A strong commitment to safe driving, patient safety, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in healthcare transportation, courier services, delivery driving, patient transport, or customer service preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical supplies, lab specimens, equipment, documents, and other materials in a timely and secure manner.
- Travel between hospital departments, labs, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities using a hospital-provided or approved vehicle.
- Provide courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Assist with occasional non-emergency patient transportation needs as assigned.
