About The Position

Aspire Health and Community Services is seeking an enthusiastic Emergency Services Team Lead for the Evening Shift to join their dynamic group at South Shore Hospital Emergency Department. This role will provide vital administrative and clinical support primarily during the evening hours. Throughout the business week, you’ll assist the Program Director with assigned tasks while maintaining a strong focus on clinical responsibilities. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • LMHC or LICSW required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in acute mental health.
  • Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and colleagues.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual skills and/or experience with multicultural populations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct crisis evaluations, mental status updates, brief interventions for addiction, discharge planning, and collaborate with the treatment team.
  • Address and resolve administrative concerns, staff needs, and workflow issues in real time to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with hospital/Aspire management as needed to escalate urgent matters effectively.
  • Provide real-time support to clinicians conducting crisis evaluations and brief interventions for addiction.
  • Assist with complex triage concerns that arise.
  • Act as a primary trainer for new crisis clinicians, offering orientation, shadowing, and ongoing clinical mentorship.
  • Provide feedback and skill-building opportunities for new staff.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.
  • Support the creation of engaging training curriculum and materials.
  • Oversee evening and weekend workflow, including allocating MSU assignments, assigning and prioritizing initial crisis evaluations, and allocating brief interventions for addiction.
