About The Position
Garden Grove Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Hospital Cook to prepare quality food according to established food safety policies in a sanitary environment. The hospital is a 167-bed community facility in Southern California and is part of Prime Healthcare. This is a per diem position with a variable shift. The stated reasonable compensation estimate is $26.30; actual starting compensation will be determined during hiring based on factors including skillset, applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in food service.
- County-specific Food Handlers certification is required upon hire and must be maintained as current.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred.
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets desired.
