Hospice Weekend RN
About The Position
Compassus is hiring a Hospice Weekend Registered Nurse to provide hospice patient care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The nurse helps patients spend quality time with loved ones and continue activities they enjoy, builds compassionate relationships with patients and families, educates caregivers, and supports patient comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. The schedule is Friday–Sunday or Saturday–Monday, 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Schedules may vary to meet agency staffing needs and can include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off.
Requirements
- Hold an RN license in the state where the position is located.
- Have two years of experience as a registered nurse.
- Hold a current driver’s license.
- Hold current CPR and BCLS certifications.
- Flex the schedule to meet agency staffing needs.
