RN Hospice (Weekend Shift)
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring an RN Hospice nurse for a weekend shift running Friday at 5:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM. The role provides home-based hospice care, coordinating care, continually assessing the needs of patients and families, and implementing the interdisciplinary plan of care. Services must follow physician orders, the established plan of care, and applicable federal and state regulations. The position requires an approved nursing education, current state RN licensure, at least one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse, basic technology skills including mobile-device operation, and CPR certification for healthcare providers. A valid driver's license, legally required automobile liability insurance, dependable transportation, and the ability to drive safely in all weather conditions are also required. Medicare home health or hospice experience is preferred. Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing education.
- Licensed in the state where the nurse currently practices.
- At least one year of experience as a licensed registered nurse (RN).
- Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Valid state driver's license.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition.
- Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
- CPR certification for the healthcare provider.
