About The Position

Providence at Home with Compassus is hiring a per-diem Hospice Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse. The role provides hospice patient care after hours and on weekends as needs arise, helping patients spend quality time with loved ones and do activities they enjoy. The nurse builds compassionate relationships with patients and families, educates caregivers, and supports patients and families in maintaining comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. Scheduling is variable and may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off, based on agency staffing needs. This is a collective bargaining position. The stated base compensation range is $47.88–$65.18 per hour; additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonuses. Requirements

• Current registered nurse license in the state where the employee works.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse; hospice experience is preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flexibility to adjust the schedule to meet agency staffing needs.
