Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse - PRN

About The Position

The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse provides hospice patient care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The nurse helps patients spend quality time with loved ones and take part in activities they enjoy, while building trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families. The role also includes educating caregivers and supporting patients and families in maintaining comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies. Schedules are flexible to meet agency staffing needs and may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on followed by seven days off. Requirements

Current RN license in the state where the employee works.
Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
Current driver’s license.
Current CPR and BCLS certification.
Flexibility to meet agency staffing needs.
