About The Position

The Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse provides hospice care after hours and on weekends as patient needs arise. The nurse helps patients spend meaningful time with loved ones and continue activities they enjoy, builds trusting and compassionate relationships with patients and families, and educates caregivers on how to care for their loved ones. The role also supports patients and families in maintaining comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state where the nurse works.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse.
• Current driver's license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flexibility to meet agency staffing needs; schedules may include weekends only, weeknights only, or seven days on and seven days off.
