We are hiring a Massage Therapist for a Hospice position providing care to patients in their homes in the Northbrook, IL. and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, some college coursework preferred
• A minimum of five years of therapeutic massage
• Experience with geriatric population
• Current driver’s license and ability to spend ~20% of your day driving to/from patient locations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a hospice setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to comfort, dignity, and quality of life
• Provide compassionate massage therapy and aromatherapy services in accordance with hospice protocols to promote comfort, relaxation, pain relief, and overall quality of life for patients and families
• Educate and support patients and caregivers on wellness and comfort-focused care while responding to questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and flexibility to meet patient needs
• Work independently but never alone
• Travel to patient homes within assigned territory
