About The Position
The Hospice Massage Therapist provides calming, supportive massage therapy to hospice clients in Springfield, Missouri, and surrounding areas. Sessions may offer a relaxing space for clients to process emotions and experiences while easing physical discomfort and supporting quality of life in a palliative care setting. Massage may also be offered to loved ones of hospice clients to support their mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Auto liability insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide massage therapy to hospice clients to promote relaxation and ease physical discomfort.
- Support clients’ quality of life in a palliative care setting.
- Potentially provide massage therapy to loved ones of hospice clients to support their well-being.
