About The Position

At Moments Hospice, the Massage Therapist provides personalized massage therapy interventions to alleviate patients’ symptoms and promote comfort, relaxation, and well-being. Services are tailored to each patient’s individualized care plan and provided under the direction of the Clinical Director. The role involves patient assessment, treatment, observation and reporting of patient responses, and timely maintenance of patient records.

The position offers autonomy and variety in hospice care while working directly with the clinical team. The work is on the road, and the compensation package includes an optional fleet vehicle for business and personal use at minimal cost, with fuel and insurance covered.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program with a minimum of 500 hours of training.
• Hold current licenses or certifications as required by state law.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
• Have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of the National Certification Exam (NCTMB).
• One year of experience as a Massage Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Provide massage therapy services under the direction of the Clinical Director according to each patient’s individualized care plan.
• Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Perform massage therapy to alleviate symptoms and promote relaxation and comfort.
• Observe and report patient responses and changes in condition to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records within 24–48 hours of sessions.
