About The Position

The Hospice Massage Therapist provides massage therapy services to hospice patients according to their plans of care. The role includes assessing and evaluating patients, establishing therapy plans and goals, delivering treatments prescribed by the Attending Physician and Suncrest Hospice team, and instructing patients, families, and staff in massage therapy. The therapist reports clients’ responses to treatment and changes in condition, documents services electronically on the day of service, attends team conferences upon request, and participates in Performance Improvement activities as requested.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited massage therapy program.
• Current certification or license required by state law.
• Proof of professional liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and required vehicle insurance.

Nice To Haves

• One year of massage therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and evaluations and establish massage therapy plans and goals.
