About The Position

Concho Hearts Hospice is seeking a driven, passionate Hospice Executive Director/Marketer to build and lead a new hospice location while serving the community with excellence. This is a unique opportunity to create a team, develop strong community partnerships, and lead a hospice program that makes a difference in the lives of patients and families. The Executive Director will oversee the overall management, growth, and success of the location, ensuring high-quality patient care, strong operational processes, and meaningful community relationships. The interdisciplinary team of Nurses, Aides, Chaplains, Social Workers, Volunteers, and Physicians works together to provide comfort, dignity, and support wherever patients call home. Concho Hearts Hospice is locally owned and operated, allowing for compassionate care that is quick and personal.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of hospice marketing experience required.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience developing referral networks and growing census.
Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Passion for compassionate end-of-life care.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of hospice regulations and operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Build, lead, and develop the hospice team.
Establish and grow referral relationships with hospitals, facilities, physicians, and community partners.
Conduct community outreach and educational presentations about hospice services.
Meet with patients and families to explain hospice care and expectations.
Work closely with clinical leadership to ensure smooth transitions into hospice care.
Oversee daily operations, compliance, and quality standards.
Monitor community perception and maintain strong customer relationships.
Support hiring, training, and development of staff.
Drive business development and sustainable growth for the location.
