About The Position

The Hospice Aide works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide services that meet patients’ personal needs and promote comfort. The aide observes patients, reports observations, and documents observations and care provided.

Requirements

• CNA or Home Health Certification is required.
• Must maintain a current Alabama Driver’s License and auto liability insurance.
• Ability to make meaningful observations and write brief, accurate reports.
• Ability to recognize people’s needs and maintain good relationships with them.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Hospice or long-term care experience preferred.
