About The Position

Jeff Wyler Automotive Family is hiring flat-rate technicians for Jeff Wyler Superior Honda in Cincinnati. Hourly or flat-rate wages are available based on experience. The Automotive Technician performs vehicle repairs and diagnostics according to dealership and factory standards, documents work, and communicates with the service advisor and parts department as needed. The role includes participation in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Applicants must demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training.
ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform work listed on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose the causes of most malfunctions and perform repairs.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Save and tag parts from jobs covered by warranty or when requested by the customer.
Inspect assigned vehicles to determine whether additional safety or service work is required or recommended.
Immediately inform the service advisor when additional work is needed, listed work is unnecessary, or repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
