About The Position

Become a Veterans Home Assistant and help Veterans maintain their independence in their own homes. This part-time job offers flexible daytime hours Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the ability to set your own schedule. It may suit students, parents, or others seeking flexible part-time work. Hiring is underway, and the successful candidate could start right away. The role includes light housekeeping and may also involve laundry, meal preparation, errands, and companionship. Pay is $16.50 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have a valid driver's license.
Have a reliable vehicle.
Provide proof of current auto insurance.
Obtain CPR certification within 10 days of hire.
Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Perform light house cleaning, including tidying kitchens, washing dishes, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
Provide laundry services.
Prepare meals.
Run errands.
Provide companionship.
