About The Position

The Companion/Homemaker provides in-home care and assistance to clients. The role involves supporting clients with personal care, mobility, meals, errands, appointments, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Full-time and part-time hours are available, with flexible scheduling across weekdays, weekends, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights. The listed pay is $10.00–$13.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Caregiver or Home Health Aide in healthcare, in a home or facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene, including bathroom or bedpan use, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding.
• Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
