About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Homemakers / Personal Care Caregivers to support clients in their homes in Peabody, Beverly, Wenham, Danvers, Salem, Lynn, and other North Shore areas. The role offers flexible scheduling and aims to match caregivers with opportunities near their homes. Personal care responsibilities are performed after training. BAYADA describes a supportive work environment with access to tools needed for the job and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable work experience; healthcare-related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide light homemaking assistance, including personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship.
• Help maintain a safe physical environment.
• After training, assist with activities of daily living.
• After training, support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• After training, assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
• After training, check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• After training, perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• After training, assist with ambulation.
• After training, provide medication assistance.
