About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Homemakers / Personal Care Caregivers to provide in-home assistance and companionship to clients in Peabody, Beverly, Wenham, Danvers, Salem, Lynn, and other North Shore areas. The role offers a $22-per-hour pay rate, flexible scheduling, efforts to match caregivers with opportunities near their homes, and support from an on-call clinical manager. Personal care responsibilities are performed after training.

Requirements

• At least one year of verifiable work experience; healthcare-related experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform light homemaking assistance, including personal laundry, meal preparation, and food shopping.
• Provide companionship.
• Help maintain a safe physical environment.
• After training, assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Perform transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform home-management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Provide medication assistance.
