About The Position

An in-home care and assistance company is hiring Caregivers and Home Health Aides to provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes. The role includes helping with personal hygiene, mobility and transfers, meals, errands or medical appointments, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. Full-time and part-time hours are available, as well as contract work. Schedules may include weekday or weekend shifts, mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Caregiver or Home Health Aide in healthcare, in homes or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathroom or bedpan use, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
• Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
• Help prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
