About The Position
The Cook supports the health, happiness, and daily experience of residents at Hearthstone in Pella. The role prepares a variety of hot and cold dishes each day using chef-approved recipes and collaborates with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors in a professional kitchen. The Cook also helps prepare meals for residents with modified diet plans, monitors food quality and portion sizes, and responds promptly to maintain service standards. The position follows sanitation and waste-control practices to contribute to a safe, efficient, and sustainable kitchen.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of cooking experience.

Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes.
- Collaborate with Chefs and Food & Beverage Directors in a professional kitchen.
- Help prepare meals that meet modified diet plans.

- Act quickly to ensure each plate meets service standards.
- Follow proper sanitation and waste-control practices.
