About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Home Service Technician (TC Pro) to perform home service installations that improve comfort and protection. The role follows a scheduled route and includes work in varied home environments, with safety as the top priority. Orkin provides paid training, tools, and support, with opportunities for pay increases, promotions, and career advancement. No previous pest control experience is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, including climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which sometimes includes an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willingness to work in different weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily assigned route within the assigned territory.
• Prepare and install attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and radiant heat barriers.
• Complete all required service-related documentation.
• Build trusted customer relationships and represent Orkin professionally.
• Work on rooftops, in crawl spaces and attics, on ladders, and in confined spaces.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Prioritize safety when using equipment, working in different environments, and interacting with customers.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.
