About The Position

Join Orkin as a Home Services Technician (TC Pro) and perform home service installations that improve comfort and protection. The role follows an assigned daily route and includes work in varied environments, such as rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces. Safety is a top priority, and the technician represents Orkin while building trusted customer relationships. Orkin provides paid training, tools, support, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, including climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which sometimes includes an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willingness to work in different types of weather conditions.
• No previous pest control experience is required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily assigned route within the assigned territory.
• Prepare and install attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and radiant heat barriers.
• Complete required service-related documentation.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and represent Orkin professionally.
• Work in environments including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Prioritize safety when using equipment, working in different environments, and interacting with customers.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
