About The Position

Orkin is hiring a Home Service Technician (TC Pro) to perform home service installations that improve comfort and protection. The role follows a scheduled daily route within an assigned territory and involves working in varied environments, including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces. Orkin provides paid training, tools, and support, with opportunities for pay increases, promotions, and career advancement. Starting pay is $20–$23 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment; the company pays for it.
• Ability to work independently in the field, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, including climbing or balancing and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which sometimes includes an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willingness to work in different weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• No previous pest control experience is required; Orkin provides training.

Responsibilities

• Follow a daily assigned route within the territory.
• Prepare and install attic remediations, crawl space encapsulations, gutter protection systems, and radiant heat barriers.
• Complete all required service-related documentation.
• Build trusted customer relationships and represent Orkin professionally.
• Work in varied environments, including rooftops, crawl spaces, attics, ladders, and confined spaces.
• Operate a company vehicle safely.
• Prioritize safety when using equipment, working in different environments, and interacting with customers.
• Perform duties in all weather conditions.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
