About The Position

As an Orkin Termite Sales Inspector, you will recommend termite protection services and help homeowners protect their homes. You will conduct inspections of customers’ homes, identify issues, explain practical solutions, and build trusted customer relationships. Orkin provides training, so no industry experience is required. The role includes prospecting and working assigned leads, scheduling and conducting in-home sales appointments, and preparing sales agreements using a company-provided iPad. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required; the company pays for it.
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Act professionally and with integrity toward customers and coworkers.
• Use training to understand customer needs, solve problems, and recommend appropriate pest solutions.
• Prospect for new business and work assigned leads to achieve goals.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet potential customers in their homes.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of customers’ homes, including areas such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Make recommendations based on inspections, answer customer questions, explain the process, and set expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
