About The Position

As an Orkin Termite Sales Inspector, you will help homeowners protect their homes by inspecting properties, identifying pest-related issues, and recommending suitable termite and pest protection services. Orkin provides award-winning training, and no industry experience is required. The role combines sales, customer service, and field inspections, with opportunities to build customer relationships, achieve sales goals, and pursue leadership growth. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required.
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.
• Ability to meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties with or without accommodations.
• Ability to safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely access crawlspaces, attics, confined spaces, and rooftops, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, which may include an OSHA-compliant respirator.
• Willingness to work in different types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself professionally and with integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Listen to customers and recommend an overall pest solution that addresses their needs.
• Prospect for new business and follow up on assigned leads to achieve goals.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet potential customers in their homes.
• Explain Orkin products and services to customers.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of customers’ homes, including areas such as attics and crawlspaces.
• Make recommendations based on inspection findings, answer questions, explain the process, and set expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
