About The Position

Empire Homes is seeking a Home Orientation Representative. In this role, you will schedule and conduct pre-closing inspections of newly built homes, identifying and reporting deficiencies in accordance with the Tarion Construction Performance Guidelines and the Ontario Building Code. You will lead in-person Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) with homeowners and the construction team prior to the submission of the Initial Warranty Form and oversee the completion of any outstanding deficiencies. This role will support our communities located in Breslau, Caledonia and Brantford. This posting is for a replacement position.

Requirements

• College Degree or Diploma in related field.
• 2-3 years of experience including Tarion CPG and Ontario Building Code is an asset.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Suite and ability to learn various programs.
• Customer service experience/exposure is an asset.
• Must have a valid “G” drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for inspection with homeowners based on construction closing schedule.
• Reporting including spreadsheets and internal aging reports.
• Emailing homeowners and Empire interdepartmental.
• Creating onsite files and packages with printing documentation including site files and CCP’s.
• Coordination and completions of PDI deficiencies.
• Exterior site auditing.
• Provide support to onsite administration staff as needed.
• Follow up orientations of home operations after closing.
• Ability to travel to various sites and office as required by the business.
