About The Position

The Home Health Team Assistant provides non-clinical support to regional team members delivering care to patients across Care Services. The role manages agency referrals and helps ensure required information is available before patient visits, manages work queues, and performs other non-clinical, pre-coding activities. The Assistant updates the EMR and coordinates access to care, including initial and ongoing visits, as directed. The role also monitors reports and communicates timely information to support regional leadership and employees in the field.

The position is located in Peru, Illinois, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Expected pay is $18.80–$22.12 per hour; actual pay depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Medical experience or scheduling experience, and experience working with multiple teams.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of experience in an office clerical setting or customer service environment.
• Direct experience in a medical setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
