About The Position
Amazing Care Home Health provides private duty nursing, where nurses care for one patient per shift rather than traveling between multiple patients. Shift lengths can range from 4 to 12 hours, with scheduling intended to accommodate employees’ needs. The organization provides on-the-job training for each patient and supports professional and individual growth. This role provides private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes. The patient-specific assignment is caring for a 2-month-old male with an NG tube and SVT, Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., in ZIP code 75134. The position may be part-time or full-time. Requirements
- Active LVN license or RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor the patient's condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records using a web-based electronic medical records system.
