About The Position
Amazing Care Home Health Services provides private duty nursing in patients’ homes. Unlike short visits that involve traveling to multiple patients in a shift, this role provides care to one patient per shift. Shift lengths can vary, and the organization offers on-the-job training for each patient. The patient-specific assignment described is caring for a 17-year-old male with a G-button, Sunday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in ZIP code 78732. The nurse provides pediatric in-home care, administers prescribed medications and treatments, monitors the patient’s condition, supports the patient and family, collaborates with healthcare professionals, and maintains medical records in a web-based electronic medical records system. Requirements
- Active LVN or RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Excellent assessment skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Provide private duty nursing care to pediatric patients in their homes.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor the patient’s condition and report changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with activities of daily living and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records using a web-based electronic medical records system.

- Sign-on bonus: $3,000 for full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week; $2,000 for part-time employees working 29 or fewer hours per week.
