About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent by assisting with daily routines, personal care, companionship, and household tasks. Caregivers follow each client’s care plan, communicate with the office about changes in condition or needs, and document completed care using an electronic visit verification system. Training, onboarding guidance, and support from the office team are provided. Scheduling is flexible and coordinated around caregiver and client availability. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Requirements

Show compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
Be dependable and communicate clearly with clients and the office team.
Be able to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Have reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Be able to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving client dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
