About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Hereford, Pennsylvania. Caregivers help clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent by assisting with personal routines, household tasks, and companionship while following each client’s care plan. The role includes communicating with the office team about changes in clients’ conditions or needs and documenting completed care using an electronic visit verification system. EmmUcare provides onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and office-team support. Scheduling is flexible and is coordinated around caregiver and client availability. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required. Starting pay is $11–$13 per hour, depending on the assignment and approved offer, with biweekly pay.

Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

Follow each client’s care plan.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving clients’ dignity.
Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
Prepare meals and help with light housekeeping and laundry.
Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
