About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Home Health Aide for its Senior Living Division. The role provides compassionate care to residents while supporting their dignity, privacy, rights, self-determination, and active participation. The aide assists assigned residents with activities of daily living and contributes positively to the team, including by helping onboard new teammates. Team members work in a fast-paced, rewarding senior living environment focused on residents’ physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being.

Requirements

Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program, or a state-approved CNA or HHA competency evaluation program.
Customer-service focus and ability to demonstrate the stated core values.
CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

Provide care with compassion to residents.
Help onboard new teammates and act as a positive teammate to fellow employees.
Provide care in a manner that protects and promotes residents’ rights, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, self-determination, and active participation.
Assist assigned residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding.
Interact with residents and family members in a tactful, cheerful, and enthusiastic manner.
