About The Position

The Home Health Aide provides compassionate care to residents in American Senior Communities’ Senior Living Division. The role supports residents’ rights, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, self-determination, and active participation while contributing to their physical, emotional, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. The aide also works collaboratively with colleagues, including helping onboard new teammates, and fosters positive relationships with residents and their families.

Requirements

Successfully complete a state-approved Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program, or a state-approved CNA or HHA competency evaluation program.
Demonstrate a customer-service focus and the company’s core values.
Hold CPR and First Aid certifications, or be willing to obtain them upon hire.

Responsibilities

Provide care with compassion and help make a difference in residents’ lives.
Support residents’ rights, dignity, privacy, confidentiality, self-determination, and active participation.
Assist assigned residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transferring, and feeding.
Act as a positive teammate and help onboard new teammates.
Interact tactfully, cheerfully, and enthusiastically with residents and family members.
