About The Position

BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one personal care and companionship to patients in their homes in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, and other locations. The role supports adults in living safely and independently at home, following a written plan of care from a registered nurse. Shifts of 4–12 hours are available, and pay is $17–$19 per hour. Team members provide personal care, household support, and companion care while building relationships with clients. BAYADA offers training, flexibility, support from a larger care team, and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. The company states that it maintains high safety standards and complies with applicable state and local mandates.

Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
A current Home Health Aide certificate from a course of at least 40 hours, or a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
Level II Background Check.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Provide medication reminders.
