About The Position
Attentive Care Service Agency is seeking compassionate Home Health Aides and CNAs to support senior citizens in the Philadelphia area. The role provides one-on-one assistance with daily activities, personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. No prior professional experience is necessary, although experience is preferred. The employer provides initial training and ongoing educational opportunities with nursing support. Flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and benefits are offered.
Requirements
- HHA or CNA certification.
- Flexibility.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to provide direct patient care and follow care plans.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of senior care and the specific needs of seniors.
- Ability to lift and transfer as needed.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Nice To Haves
- Professional experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and assistance to patients.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with meal preparation.
- Perform light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ physical or mental health to the home care agency.
