About The Position
Affirmed Home Care is hiring experienced Certified Home Health Aides (HHAs) for opportunities in Huntington, Fort Salonga, Oyster Bay, and surrounding communities in Suffolk County and Long Island, New York. The role offers 6–12-hour day shifts, with weekday and weekend assignments, including Saturday and Sunday opportunities. Flexible per diem scheduling and immediate placement opportunities are available for qualified caregivers. Weekend-only work, additional weekday hours, and more consistent day shifts may be available based on caregiver availability. HHAs provide one-on-one care to clients. Drivers and caregivers with reliable transportation are strongly encouraged to apply. Compensation is $19.65–$20.00 per hour, with weekly pay by direct deposit. Applicants must provide required health documentation, including a physical examination completed within the past 12 months; a PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray within the past five years; and MMR documentation, as applicable.
Requirements
- Active New York State HHA certification.
- At least one year of HHA experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.
- Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
- PPD or QuantiFERON test within the past 12 months, or a chest X-ray within the past five years.
- MMR documentation, as applicable.
