About The Position

Ennoble Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support its hospice patients in the Passaic County, New Jersey region. The caregiver will care for a census of 5–6 patients and assist patients with daily living and personal care needs, mobility and positioning, prescribed exercises, meals, and light housekeeping. The CHHA must report changes in a patient’s condition to the Nurse.

Requirements

• Hold a New Jersey State Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) credential.
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Care for a census of 5–6 patients.
• Provide or assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, mouth care, skin care, and nail care.
• Assist with toileting, positioning, transfers, and frequent turning and positioning of bedbound patients.
• Assist with prescribed exercise and range-of-motion activities taught to the patient and hospice aide by the Hospice Nurse.
• Perform light housekeeping in the patient’s personal unit or room, including changing bed linens and doing the patient’s laundry.
• Feed and assist patients with meals.
• Report changes in a patient’s condition to the Nurse.
