About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring New Jersey Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) to provide compassionate, reliable, one-on-one care to clients in Union County, including Cranford, Rahway, Plainfield, Clark, Roselle Park, Scotch Plains, Westfield, Linden, and Roselle. Candidates must be fluent in English. BAYADA offers weekly pay, flexible scheduling, short commute times by matching aides with nearby opportunities, and scholarship programs or tuition assistance. The role includes personal care, mobility support, basic health checks, medication assistance, and home management tasks. BAYADA is an accredited, regulated, certified, and licensed home health care provider and complies with applicable state and local mandates. Requirements
- Be a New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
- Be fluent in English.
- Demonstrate compassion and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Perform transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
