About The Position

Silver Lining Home Health Care is offering a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to start a career in healthcare. We are hiring full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) and will provide comprehensive training through a free, 2-week in-person certification course. This course is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent care to aging adults and support clients with behavioral and mental health needs. Our mission is to empower communities, enable seniors to live fulfilling lives, and support our Care Family in meaningful work.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not provided).
• Pass a criminal background check that meets hiring guidelines.
• Undergo a physical exam and provide a 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting.
• Able to lift, position, and transfer a client.
• Must be compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care.

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom lectures and hands-on skills practice.
• Complete assigned homework between training sessions.
• Utilize optional open lab sessions for extra practice.
• Demonstrate skills through competency sign-offs.
• Provide care to clients after completing the course and orientation.
• Support clients with behavioral and mental health needs.
• Lift, position, and transfer clients.
