About The Position

Silver Lining Home Health Care is seeking compassionate individuals to start a career in healthcare in the Sussex County Area. We are hiring full- and part-time Home Health Aides (HHAs) and will provide certification through a free, 2-week HHA course. This course is held in person and includes lecture, hands-on skills practice, homework, and competency sign-offs. Upon successful completion and orientation, you will be ready to pick up shifts. We are a client-driven company dedicated to serving our communities, supporting aging adults, and empowering our Care Family with purpose-driven work.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not provided).
• Pass a criminal background check that meets hiring guidelines.
• Undergo a physical exam and provide a 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting.
• Able to lift, position, and transfer a client.
• Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Participate in classroom lectures and hands-on skills practice for HHA certification.
• Complete assigned homework between training sessions.
• Utilize optional open lab sessions for extra practice.
• Pass skills competency sign-offs.
• Support clients with behavioral and mental health needs after completing Behavioral Health Paraprofessional training.
• Lift, position, and transfer clients.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and excellent care.
