About The Position

Silver Lining Home Health Care is hiring full- and part-time HHAs in the Kent County area and will provide certification through a free, 2-week HHA course. The company is client-driven with a mission to lift up communities, help aging adults live life to the fullest, and support its Care Family in purpose-driven work. They offer hands-on instructor support, a path to a paid career in about two weeks, and are a stable, growing team trusted by families since 2013. Requirements

• Eligible to work in the U.S. (we're unable to provide sponsorship)
• Criminal background check that meets our hiring guidelines
• Physical exam and 2-step PPD/TSpot/FingerPrinting
• Able to lift, position, and transfer a client
• Compassionate, respectful, and committed to excellent care

Responsibilities

• Each classroom day mixes lecture with hands-on skills practice
• Homework is assigned and required between sessions
• An optional open lab on Wednesdays gives you extra practice time
• Fridays test your skills through competency sign-offs
• After the course and orientation, you're ready to pick up shifts!
