Home Health Aide (HHA) - Private Duty
About The Position
Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides for its Private Duty team in a senior living community. The role provides personalized care to residents at one consistent work location, without traveling between clients. The schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts of 10–12 hours, with potential additional hours on Mondays and the possibility of full-time employment based on scheduling needs and availability. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 weekend shift differential. The aide supports residents with daily activities and services such as showers, errands, shopping, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry. The role calls for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships with older adults and can follow care plans, document services accurately, and work independently with minimal supervision. Requirements
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate, or the ability to successfully pass an HHA competency test.
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
- Ability to read and follow care plans and accurately document services provided.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Kind, reliable, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys working with older adults.
Nice To Haves
- Previous HHA experience is preferred but not required.
