About The Position

Freedom Village Bradenton is seeking dependable, compassionate Home Health Aides for its Private Duty team in a senior living community. The role involves building meaningful relationships with residents and providing personalized care in a consistent work location without traveling between clients. Duties include assisting residents with showers, errands, shopping, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and laundry. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, with 10–12-hour shifts and potential additional hours on Mondays. Full-time employment may be possible depending on scheduling needs and availability.

Requirements

• Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate or ability to successfully pass an HHA competency test.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
• Ability to read and follow care plans and accurately document services provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, kind, and compassionate, with a genuine enjoyment of working with older adults.

Nice To Haves

• Previous HHA experience is preferred but not required.
